Admin Rules

Admins are like users, except they have a higher degree of responsibility and commitment. However, this does not signify that admins are bound from any rules that the general public should follow.

1.General

1.1 All admins shall follow, enforce and be aware of all forum rules.

1.2 Admins must treat others with respect and dignity, no matter how foolish or idiotic they might be perceived to act.

1.3 Admins should be aware that administrator power is a right and not a privilege.

2.Warning and Banning

2.1 All Admins have the power to warn other members and are allowed to give one day suspensions of the forums.

2.2 Only the head Admin is allowed to permanently ban another user, all other admins must consult with at least one other admin to determine if the ban or the length of the ban is sufficient.

2.3 No admin must ban a player without warning, unless for immediate bannable offenses described in the forum rules.

3.Authority

3.1 All admins except certain individuals have the same power and authority.

3.2 No admin shall undermine the authority of another admin, especially in their pertained section, eg if Admin "A" of section "A" locks a topic, Admin "B" of section "B" has no right to open or lock any topic in section "A". The proper way to address the issue is to privately contact Admin "A" and suggest your idea. This rule also applies to the reverse scenario.

3.3 The underlying admins for each particular section is "king" no other admin can question or challenge the decision of the section admin.

3.4 All concerns must not be made public and can only be addressed to the higher admins than yourself.

Every single administration of Computer Bay should read and understand these rules. Failure to comply with the rules may lead to suspension of title and/or permanent ban from Computer Bay.
